Victoria Caterpillar plant produces 500th super large excavator

The Caterpillar Inc. manufacturing facility in Victoria produced its 500th super large hydraulic excavator a significant achievement for the company and its local plant.
The super large hydraulic excavators are the largest Caterpillar manufactures. The Victoria facility has produced them for approximately the past four years.
“It’s a great milestone for our facility,” says Karan Sood, facility manager for Caterpillar Victoria. “These are huge machines, and it’s a great testament to the great facility as well as all the employees that work hard to build these machines in a safe manner.”
