Post-Secondary Schools

University of Houston-Victoria

The University of Houston-Victoria offers more than 80 programs in various bachelor’s and master’s degree concentrations to nearly 5,000 students annually. Operating since 1973, UHV has received numerous recognitions, most recently ranked as the fifth-most affordable public university in Texas by College for All Texans.

Victoria College

Victoria College is a public, open-admission college that enrolls approximately 4,000 students annually. Since its establishment as Victoria Junior College in 1925, it has specialized in Associate Degrees and Certificates, courses that easily transfer to universities nationwide, Career & Technical Education and more.

Victoria College is supported by the Victoria College Foundation, which has more than 120 established endowments exceeding $13 million in total.

Mid Coast Construction Academy

Mid Coast Construction Academy is an apprenticeship program to deliver more skilled plumbers and electricians to South Texas Mid Coast Region industries. Adults and high school students receive classroom instruction and on-the-job training from knowledgeable instructors to prepare them for careers in these high-demand fields.
